Taiwanese notebook component suppliers are reportedly seeing a pickup in demand ahead of Q2 product launches - a positive datapoint for the PC industry, given Taiwan's huge share of global notebook manufacturing. A report earlier this week noted expectations of 10% Q/Q shipment growth for Q2 among both notebooks OEMs and component suppliers, in spite of recent industry weakness.
