Preferred stocks, of course. SA has helped shine a brighter light on an under appreciated segment of the market. Thank you and congratulations!

50% long the same bunch of U.S. big caps everyone else has
    10% long NLY
10% long German utility stocks (E.ON, RWE)
    10% short GWR
    10% long TGLMX
    5% cash
One explosion position 5% short USD/HKD (cost of carry is minimal and return could be 50X or more if HK revalues)

Note: This is fantasy and bears little resemblance to actual portfolio!

Speaking for the team that brings you Market Currents: We're thrilled to be a part of such a large (and fast-growing) community, and excited to bring you real-time news and analysis each day, all day. Whether you agree or disagree with the articles and their points of view -- and whether each day's news items bring you good news or bad news for your investments -- there's tremendous value in all of us coming together to read and discuss them, and that gets more valuable all the time with a plugged-in, engaged community like we have.

Thanks to all of you, our readers, as well as contributors, SA employees and everyone else who makes this such an enjoyable place to cover the news, pore through the analysis, come together and talk investing.

Nothing, but probably treasuries. I'm not sure that I would really want to bet against the Fed though.

I'm managing several accounts which are now 50% to 80% cash or corporate bond positions. Of the portions invested about 40% is in energy, 20% in financials, 10% in shipping plays, and the rest distributed between materials and tech sector plays. I'm researching more about oil services and technology, with the intention of increasing those holdings through mid 2013.

One thing I wish would be added to Seeking Alpha is an on/off switch for refreshing the news feeds. Sometimes there is quite a bit of news, and the page refreshes before I get to the bottom of the list. A few other financial websites offer a refresh switch.

Of all the hundreds of sites, SA has proven to be the best. I think the main reason for that is because you can get so many viewpoints in a short amount of time.
