Though sales of notebooks running Google's (GOOG) Chrome OS have been very unimpressive thus far, as consumers either opt for tablets or simply stick with low-end Windows systems, Google remains committed. FCC documents reveal Sony (SNE) to be preparing a "Chromebook" under its VAIO brand. Interestingly, the device appears to run on an Nvidia (NVDA) Tegra 2 processor rather than an Intel (INTC) chip.
