Algeria finmin Karim Djoudi denies a report that the country has agreed to pay Vimpelcom (VIP -1.8%) $6.5B for 51% of local carrier Djezzy 93, saying that the sides are still negotiating. Analysts had been surprised at the price. "We would have expected $6.5B for the whole asset not 51%," said one.
