3D Systems, Voxeljet up strongly

• Beaten-down 3D printer makers 3D Systems (DDD +5.2%) and Voxeljet (VJET +4.8%) are rallying again today. 3D s now up 16% from the Feb. 3 low it saw after Stratasys' warning; Voxeljet is up 18% from its Feb. 3 low.
• Profit-taking by shorts could be playing a big role: 3D had 36.3M shares (34% of its float) shorted as of Jan. 30, and Voxeljet had 2.2M shares (18% of its float) shorted.
