Exxon Mobil (XOM), BP, and ConocoPhillips (COP) have come to terms with Alaska's government over a dispute regarding a North Slope oil & gas lease. This is a perfect example how the Federal government interferes with the oil industry, an air permit?. It's absolutely disgusting that a company would have to fight the environmentalists and the government at the same time.
