Ascent Solar +14.5% on Q4 pre-announcement

• Ascent Solar (OTCPK:ASTI) reports it had Q4 revenue of $2.4M, up 118% Q/Q and roughly 4x Y/Y. The EnerPlex mobile accessory line (includes solar-powered products) saw revenue grow to $2.3M from $1M in Q3 and $500K a year earlier. Full-year revenue was $5.3M, up from 2013's $1.3M.
• Ascent expects EnerPlex sales to "continue to grow rapidly as we continue to expand our distribution channels domestically and internationally," and also forecasts further growth for its high-value solar products.
• Though still far below a 52-week high of $8.30, shares have risen to their highest levels since early December.
