Samsung (SSNLF.PK) has been gaining smartphone share in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, says Canaccord's Mike Walkley. Walkley believes Samsung had 28.2% of the smartphone market in Q1, ahead of Apple's (AAPL) 22.4%. Each company had a little over 23% in Q4. Meanwhile, RIMM, NOK, and HTC continued to lose share, while QCOM gained chip share and also benefited from growing LTE phone shipments. (previously)
