- Pearson Plc (NYSE:PSO) has promoted Coram Williams to be its new CFO, replacing Robin Freestone in that post on Aug. 1, at which time he will also replace Freestone on the board.
- Williams is the CFO of the Penguin Random House group, and has been with the company since 2002.
- CEO John Fallon praised Williams' role at Penguin Random House "through a significant company integration and a period of industry change."
- Shares of Pearson are up 16.3% YTD.
