In promoting his company's ultrabook efforts, an Intel (INTC) product manager talks up the importance of touchscreen support, adding the chip giant is "strongly encouraging" OEMs to include touchscreens in upcoming ultrabooks. That's a positive for touchscreen controller vendors ATML and CY, who have been dinged by soft high-end Android tablet sales. Steve Jobs, for his part, wasn't a fan of putting touchscreens on notebooks.
