In the wake of Groupon's (GRPN -0.2%) Q4 restatement, which was triggered by a change in refund reserve estimates, Felix Salmon asks whether Groupon should be booking any revenue from a deal until it expires, given Groupon can't know until then the extent of its refund payments. He suspects the SEC, which is taking another look at the daily deals provider, will be asking a similar question. (also)
