FOMC minutes: There was less interest in another round of bond buys at the March 13 meeting, with only a couple members suggesting more easing could become necessary if the economy lost momentum. Members thought the economy was a "bit stronger" but not in a meaningful way. After the more hawkish tone, stocks slide: Dow -0.7%, S&P -0.7%, Nasdaq -0.4%.

The general tone was tenative, when AAPL starts down between here and $700 the opera ends for the summer. Then we will see how brave the Fed is.

Do Not underestimate the Bernank the mad dollar printing diluter. They are trying to knock the wind out of commodity prices before they revvv up the presses again. They know $4-$5 gas will put a real hurt on consumers and global economy.

Probably true. Wait until markets are off say 15-20% and see Bennie hyping more monetary easing then.
