Ascent +11.9%; iPhone 6 battery/solar case goes on sale

• Ascent Solar (OTCPK:ASTI) states its Surfr iPhone 6 battery/solar charging case, shown off at CES in January, is now available for purchase.
• The $100 case, which enters a crowded iPhone 6 accessory market, has a 2700mAh battery and micro-USB port, and is declared by Ascent to enable "more than 10 hours of extra talk time as well as doubled video and audio capacity." CNET liked the case's relative lightness and lack of bulk when trying it out in January.
