Gasoline prices continue to march higher, and the conventional wisdom is they'll keep moving up, but more experts are now saying pump prices are close to peaking and probably won’t average much above $4/gallon this spring. Inventories of crude oil and gasoline are higher than a year ago, refineries are returning from maintenance, and operating rates and gasoline production are rising.
