SBA Communications adds GM exec Chan to board

• Wireless infrastructure firm SBA Communications (NASDAQ:SBAC) has added longtime telecom exec Mary Chan to its board as an independent director.
• Chan has been president of GM's Global Connected Consumer & OnStar Service. She's also held mobility-focused roles with Dell, Alcatel-Lucent and AT&T Network Systems.
• The move, effective May 1, expands SBAC's board to eight members.
