Semiconductor Manufacturing International (SMI) raises its Q1 forecast, citing “solid order momentum and an improved outlook from our customers across the board.” SMI now sees a 14%-15% revenue increase, up from 7%-9% earlier, and raises gross margin guidance to 10%-12% from 4%-7%.
