Though gas prices on average have tricked lower over the last week, drivers on the East Coast aren't paying less at the pump. A flurry of refinery closures in the region have pushed up transport costs in a trend that could continue through the summer.

    Good the Liberals do not like those ugly nasty refineries....so they close them down..then they complaign about the price of gas....you gotta love it....lol

    Actually the refineries are closing due to a lack of feeder pipelines and an inability to to generate profit from current market dynamics.

     

    This is a healthy situation in my opinion, short term painful however.
