It looks as if Apple (AAPL) is serious about fighting the DOJ's e-book antitrust suit. Spokesman Tom Neumayr declares the DOJ's allegations to be "simply not true," and says Apple's entry into the e-book market "fostered innovation and competition, breaking Amazon’s (AMZN) monopolistic grip on the publishing industry." Some disagree.

    I am much more concerned about the Obama power grab than anything Apple has done. He is using DOJ purely to create campaign contributions and its seedy, Chicagoish, and distasteful.
