Slowing GDP growth doesn't make the top of the list of China's worries, writes John Foley. At the head of the pack is political shenanigans - as exemplified by the Bo Xilai saga - surrounding next year's leadership change. Chinese biggest strategic worries are its terrible demographic profile , its real estate and infrastructure bubbles, its very vulnerable international energy supply chains and growing hostility to its mercantilism and resource imperialism in both Asia and Africa.

If 8.1 % where a real number there may be no monetary easing as the target for this year is lower than the current growth. If they ease, it means that real growth was a lot lower.

China has at least hundreds on millions who have not yet joined the economy while technology is rapidly replacing labor in manufacturing, agriculture and elsewhere in China and everywhere.
