  • The deal for Suddenlink -- the 7th-largest cableco in the U.S., with 1.14M subscribers -- could be announced as soon as this week and would represent a major cross-border move for Altice and its founder, billionaire Patrick Drahi.
  • Suddenlink is owned by private-equity firm BC Partners and a Canadian pension fund.
