AIG scores 4 1/2-year high

• AIG is quietly higher by 7.25% YTD, outpacing stocks like MetLife and Prudential, both of which are in the red in 2015, and the XLF which is just barely in the green.
• The insurer's 1% gain today puts it above $60 per share for the first time since the opening days of 2011. The next stop on the charts would be before the company's collapse in 2008. The all-time split-adjusted high was over $1,400 per share in June 2007.
