Nice article about "unfreezing" of the CDO's. How about expanding that out a bit? This toxic crap is still being created. Also, speaking of "summonsing", how about that summons to appear before the Mandarins in China. Ya, that went REAL well. "Short Pants" Timmy is totally out of his league and he learned most of what he knows from his old boss at GS and predecessor to the job he holds now, good old Hank "The Bazooka" Paulson, the inventor (with a little quant help) and primary peddler of this toxic crap.

this guy & his predecessor are equally corrupt. Throwing billions of tax payer dollars to bail out their bankster friends. No worries though, his highness Obama will raise taxes to replenish their coffers, so they can the party going for themselves.

OK! let us bring back Paulson.

He can then threaten to fire everyone if they don't follow his orders!

    So he should supervise back-offices.

The problem with the CDS market is that it is opaque and unregulated. I bet AIG didn't have any failing trades, but they almost caused the collapse of the global financial system.

As for policy, Tim Geithner is a creature of Wall St. and he will defer to the judgment of "the best and brightest" to determine what is good for America.

Please give me a break. The Geithner "effective". He is a schmuck. The only thing he has done is helping banks to have record profits with taxpayers money. He is worse than Paulson.
