Amedisys receives subpoena from U.S. DOJ

• In a regulatory filing, Amedisys (NASDAQ:AMED) disclosed that it received a subpoena from the U.S. Department of Justice requesting delivery of documents to the U.S. Attorneys Office for the District of Massachusetts. The documents relate to 53 hospice patients, the company's clinical and business operations and its related compliance activities for the period January 1, 2011 to the present.
• Amedisys intends to cooperate fully with the investigation.
