Northrop Grumman awarded LAIRCM contract modification

• Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC -0.3%) has received a $111M modification to a former firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Air Force to deliver hardware and support for the Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasure (LAIRCM) system.
• The system detects missile launches and tracks them to determine threat status.
