Amicus initiates equity offering

• Amicus Therapeutics (NASDAQ:FOLD) commences a $150M public offering of common stock. Underwriters over-allotment is an additional 15% of the number of shares offered. Price, volume and terms have yet to be announced.
• Separately, the company hired Mark Baldry as VP of Global Marketing. He joined the firm from Biogen where he was VP, Public Affairs. It also hired Willem van Weperen as Regional VP and Country Manager, International. He joined the firm from Prosensa Holding where he was Chief Commercial Officer.
