These are statistically cheap stocks (except for XOM, which is in a class by itself).

    According to the AP headline:

Home Depot's better than expected forecast is moving stocks higher.

Been to a Home Depot lately? Even on the weekends you can catch a glimpse of a tumbleweed rolling down the empty aisles.

They typically on need 2 registers open at any given time and there is never a wait.

How do I know? As someone involved in the housing/ development/ home renovation business et al for 2 decades, I make it my business to gather all information about this industry.

Rosy outlooks are just that. Outlooks offering a "possible" improvement. What do we know about Wall Street? They tell you what you want to hear with no fear of being wrong. No accountability.
I am telling you what you need to hear, to help balance out the hype.
