- U.S. stock index futures are lower by 0.3% after weekend discussions between Greece and its creditors lasted just about an hour before breaking down.
- Europe's lower by about 1.5%, led by a near-5% dive in Athens. Shanghai closed down 2% and the Hang Seng by 1.5%.
- The 10-year Treasury yield is lower by four basis points to 2.36% and the German 10-year Bund yield is down one basis point, but yields across the EU periphery are on the rise. Gold is down $3 per ounce to $1,176 and oil is down $0.70 per barrel to $59.27.
