Verizon (VZ +1.5%) trades higher following its Q1 report, which was marked by healthy net adds and continued ARPU growth. During its earnings call, the carrier said it sold 3.2M iPhones (4.2M in Q4) and 2.1M LTE smartphones; the former might be disappointing Apple (AAPL -1.7%) investors a bit, though a Q/Q drop was expected. Verizon also said it's exiting the calling card and pay phone businesses, and will be introducing shared data plans by mid-summer.
