F5 (FFIV +11%) surges towards its 52-week high after delivering FQ2 results and FQ3 guidance that calmed fears (I, II) of slowing sales, and validated bulls (I, II) who argued demand remains healthy. Capstone and Wunderlich are upgrading F5 to Buy in response; the latter praises F5's record gross margin and strong book/bill, and (like Merrill) expects Intel's Romley server CPUs to boost demand for F5's switches.
