Schwab: Discount brokers to up ante for market share

• Once the Federal Reserve begins to raise rates, discount brokers - finally having something to do with client cash - will begin competing more intensely for customers, says Schwab (SCHW -0.3%) CEO Walt Bettinger.
• The quest for market share could come in the form of price, features, or service, says Bettinger. As for Schwab, Bettinger wouldn't say whether he'll be willing to sacrifice profit to lure more customers.
