- Personal care and specialty pharmaceutical products developer DS Healthcare Group (OTC:DSKX -9.7%) acquires privately-held WR Group for $34M in cash plus $2.5M in restricted shares of DSKX common stock. The transaction will be funded with ~$35M in senior debt.
- WR Group owns a large portfolio of personal care brands and operates one of the world's largest global e-commerce personal care and wellness websites with over 2M active customers. In fiscal 2014, it generated ~$50M in sales and ~$10M in EBITBA.
- DS will host a conference call and webcast on Thursday, August 20, at 8:30 am ET to discuss the deal.
