Ford (F +5.2%) may do something it hasn't since the Great Depression: become America's top automaker. GM's (GMGMQ.PK) surviving brands made up 16.5% of the market in June, while Ford's share (excluding for-sale Volvo) was 17.2%. GM passed Ford for the lead in U.S. share in 1931.
