A research analyst says Cisco (CSCO -0.5%) is in the middle of cutting 1,500-2,000 jobs, which would mean it will surpass its own expectations of cutting $1B a year in expenses.

    So I guess you could surmise that they don't anticipate revenue growth. How much did it cost them to train 2000 workers? They are serious about shrinking as is the rest of the economy. Don't expect tech to lead us out.
    I have all the technology I can handle and I don't need any more routers, how about you?
