  • The FOMC announcement is due at 2 ET today, with interest rate futures markets still not having priced in any sort of chance of a rate hike, even as a calmer macro picture over the past few sessions has renewed general chatter of a boost in interest rates this afternoon.
  • U.S. stock index futures are all lower by about 0.15%.
  • Shanghai fell 2.1% overnight and the Nikkei climbed 1.5%. Europe is little-changed.
  • The 10-year Treasury yield is off two basis points to 2.28%, gold is down $3 per ounce, and oil is lower by $0.70 per barrel to $46.47.
