Synaptics' (SYNA -7.9%) FQ3 report provides more evidence of the troubles facing mobile suppliers with limited Apple/Samsung exposure. While the company says it's seeing rebounding demand for its notebook touchpads, it claims limited visibility for mobile touchscreen controller sales, due to "market share and sell-through dynamics" within its customer base. As a result, Synaptics expects FQ4 revenue of $133M-$140M, below a consensus of $149.5M. (also)
