More steps taken toward safe drone integration

• PrecisionHawk, Verizon (NYSE:VZ), Harris (NYSE:HRS) and DigitalGlobe (DGI) have announced the successful completion of initial testing of high-performance airspace services to serve as a pathway for safe drone integration.
• The move puts together industry leaders in drones, cellular, aircraft surveillance and satellite imagery, to form the LATAS platform, which connects airspace safety technologies for the rapidly growing drone market.
