- Dish Network (NASDAQ:DISH) has dipped 2% after Q3 results where revenue missed expectations though profits were up sharply.
- Net income attributable to Dish Network was up 34.2%. Revenues fell slightly short, though average revenue per pay-TV user rose to $86.33 from a year-ago $84.39.
- Dish added a net 13,000 broadband subscribers, and lost a net 23,000 pay-TV subscribers, accelerated from last year's los of 12,000. It doesn't break out numbers for Sling TV, though analyst firm MoffettNathanson estimates it added 24,000.
- Churn rate increases slightly Y/Y, to 1.86% vs. 1.67%.
