Here's a pairs trade: Buy SPY, sell BRK.B following Berkshire's annual meeting (this year's is on May 5). The S&P has outperformed Berkshire for each of the last 3 years following the meeting. Cumulatively over that time, the S&P is up 60% vs. BRK up 32%.

    What is this?

Why is this information on Market Currents? If you want to give the facts of S&P and BRK, that is fine. Give the facts. The decision to give investment advice on Market Currents is something I didn't expect to see.

Just the facts, as they used to say in the golden age of tv.

A correlation of 1 on 3 data points???? Analysis is a bit shallow. Did the AFC or NFC win the super bowls those three years?

You want facts and only facts go to Reuters. This is an investment site called Seeking Alpha in case you missed that. Your comments sound more like sour grapes from disgruntled investors at the Buffet.

It could have been about the GRPN for that matter. The same point stands.
