- A series of coordinated terrorist attacks across Paris has left at least 120 dead. The majority of those killed were attending a rock concert at the Bataclan theater.
- The initial report of some sort of attack at around 4 ET was that of a bomb going off outside of a soccer match between France and Germany being held just north of Paris. President Hollande was at the match and had to be quickly evacuated.
- Hollande has declared a nationwide state of emergency and closed the country's borders in the hopes of keeping the perpetrators from escaping.
