A U.S. District Judge has ordered Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Samsung (OTC:SSNLF) to reduce the enormous number of patent infringement complaints each has filed against the other for the second time, calling the current situation "cruel and unusual" for her court's jury. The order comes ahead of May 21-22 mediation talks involving Apple and Samsung's CEOs.
