Swift Energy (SFY -11.3%) shares plunge after Q1 results declined more than expected despite production growth of 6% to 2.8M boepd vs. 2.65M a year ago. Revenues fell a larger-than-expected 6% as a 43% slump in natural gas prices more than offset a 14% rise in realized oil prices. Like others, SFY says it is continuing to push more into liquids as natural gas.
