Rovi (ROVI -7.6%) sells off after missing Q1 revenue estimates, albeit while maintaining its 2012 guidance. During its earnings call, Rovi blamed the shortfall on declining sales of its analog content protection technology, as well as weaker-than-expected growth for its Entertainment Store platform. It was also mentioned CFO/COO James Budge will be leaving in mid-May, and Chief Accounting Officer Peter Halt will step in as CFO.
