Cisco (CSCO) is acquiring Truviso, a provider of network data analysis software, for an undisclosed sum. Like recently-acquired ClearAccess, Cisco plans to integrate Truviso's products, which it believes can help carriers deal with an explosion in the number of Internet-connected devices, with its Prime network management software.
