- HCP (NASDAQ:HCP -1.8%) says its chief administrative officer and general counsel, James Mercer, is retiring effective Feb. 5, and it's named Troy McHenry as general counsel, secretary and executive VP in replacement.
- The company also lifted Scott Anderson to the role of executive VP and chief accounting officer, and named Darren Kowalske, John Lu, and John Stasinos to executive vice presidencies as well.
- Mercer will work as a consultant (for $88,636/month, and a lump sum of $660K) until Dec. 31 to aid in the transition.
- McHenry has been with the company since 2010, having previously worked in a similar role at MGM Resorts International.
