Quest Software (QSFT +9.6%) surges to $25.03, far above IVP's $23/share acquisition price, after announcing it received multiple alternate bids during its just-ended go-shop period. Quest adds it believes the proposals will lead to a superior offer than IVP's, though it hasn't yet declared any of them to be so.
