Moody's lowers its outlook on Chesapeake Energy (CHK +3.6%) to negative from stable, reflecting growing risks from CHK's massive capex plan. CHK's cash flows are vulnerable to further declines in natural gas prices, Moody's says, and it remains dependent on completing asset sales to maintain liquidity fund its transition towards higher liquids production.

And now that NG is going up and the company also has NGL; maybe it will be/is being set up for a buyout as previously mentioned.

These rating agencies always stating the obvious. As ea1000 points out where were they six months ago? If you believe in the future of CHK this doesn't matter. If you are a nonbeliever you should have been gone long ago. To bad they didn't get in front of the subprime crisis instead of being behind it, if you catch my drift.

WELL THEN it seems a good time to buy the more Analyst's that come out against them means they are at the bottom. they are really really good about calling a bottom when the downgrade some stock it is rare for it to go any lower. when they upgrade them I sell shortly after the POP when they do... 3 or 4 in the last week have given CHK a downgrade and has sat at this price bottom. time to buy more. (I did today too)
