EMC (EMC -2.6%) confirms its acquisition of Israel-based flash storage company XtremIO in an all-cash deal that will not have a material impact to FY 2012 financial results. Terms were not announced, but Globes reports the purchase price was $430M; previous reports discussed a range of $400M-$450M.

    This sounds good to me, but the stock is getting crushed today.

     

    Do we thank Cisco?

     

    If so, then we should sell our Cisco stock and stop listening to their guidance.
