- Bond fund manager Bill Gross has asked a California court to overrule a request by Pimco (OTCPK:AZSEY) to throw out his civil lawsuit against the company, which claimed that executives plotted to oust him so others could divvy up his $250M annual bonus.
- In papers filed in state court in Orange County, the "Bond King" said Pimco's "misconduct" cost him substantial sums he earned and led to a "tarnishing of his stellar lifelong reputation."
- Gross now works for Janus Capital (NYSE:JNS), where he runs the $1.3B Janus Global Unconstrained Bond Fund (MUTF:JUCAX).
