I got tired of saying that the punishment had been exaggerated Groupon ... here are the results.
Earlier today I also noticed that the actions to be considered this week are: Groupon, Zynga and LinkedIn

I agree with above comment. They are sympathy plays following FB's IPO. Bought ZNGA @ $7.40 this morning. Probably keep for the next few days and then unload...

(GRPN) upside perfect for (FB) IPO. Carries the tide for the entire sector.

I think something more was found out yesterday. Possibly a lot of the *same* short players exposed their links across a variety of equities yesterday. Also found out was the limits of their stop losses. I'm not picking in the shorts here because long players fall to the same tricks by "tree shaking" with hedge funds.
The only problem is that there is much less short investors than long investors.
Notice yesterday the way Groupon rose before earnings. Then check the correlation to the few positives like STJ, EBIX, SVU and some others. This might be the same group with the same tolerance and stop loss structure. Interesting. I'm sure the hedge funds are studying their next attack because this left a fingerprint for them to study.
