- Gogo (NASDAQ:GOGO) is up 3.2% premarket as it announces a partnership with the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (OTCPK:EADSY) that will put its 2Ku connectivity technology on new Airbus A350s.
- The move allows for retrofit installation of new-generation antennas for A350s via a factory-authorized installation. Previously only first-generation gimbaled antennas went on the planes.
- Delta Air Lines will be first to take advantage of the new arrangement and first to bring domestic 2Ku connectivity, when it takes delivery of such an A350 in 2017.
